- Recommended to be worn over black base coat, as colours pop best that way. The three polishes in this particular series are very sheer, even with 3 coats. So just use the black base coat! This reminds me of OPI's Kermit Me to Speak, if you put a scattered holographic top coat over it. It's not as shifty as KMtS though. - xxLAYUPxx
