Any other men here trying to break gender norms?

Hi there!

I've been painting my nails for about 2 years now. I was always so jealous that there was a strong norm against men painting their nails. I never understood it. There are "traditionally masculine" events that nail polish would go great with. The big game? Paint your nails your teams colors! Fancy new car? Get the nails to match. Wearing a goofy tie? Nail to tie it all together.

I was never a fan of gender norms as they seem to severely limit the tasks that anyone can do. What initially was an act of defiance over the weekend became the norm for me to do. I love painting my nails and I hope we can break this silly norm (along with gender altogether).

Anyway, cheers to the men who throw masculinity, traditional and toxic, out the window!
